Gustavo Preston’s Aftermarket group designed and installed a VFD modification to Beth Israel Hospital. The existing constant speed booster system was measured to use approximately 67,400 Kwh/yr. By adding new (VFD) Variable Frequency Drives there is an anticipated reduction of 35,600 Kwh/yr. Cutting the amount of electricity consumed by this pump package in half.
Eversource incentive program provided the hospital $4,200 dollars to assist with the cost of the project.
