This Gustavo Preston customer had been receiving consistent preventative maintenance visits for their aging equipment. The customer was operating a NAMCO water booster that had been in service for over two decades. During a routine preventative maintenance visit, our service technician identified clear signs of system failure, including declining performance and increased risk of unplanned downtime. Compounding the issue was the installation environment: the water booster was in a small, tight mechanical space, leaving little room for equipment replacement or system redesign. |

After evaluating the available options, our team recommended replacing the aging unit with a Weil Duplex Water Booster. This system was selected for its compact footprint, reliable performance and compatible with the customer’s existing system requirements. Careful planning and precise installation allowed the new booster to be maneuvered into the confined space without requiring structural modifications. Despite the spatial constraints, the replacement was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to the customer’s operations. The customer was extremely satisfied with the proactive recommendation, seamless installation, and the clean fit of the new water booster system. The project reinforced the value of preventative maintenance and demonstrated how early detection can prevent emergencies and unplanned downtime.
